tiny acts isn’t about adding more to your to-do list. It’s about sprinkling in a little spark each day. You’ll get one small prompt from one of four categories—mindful, caring, explorer, or activity—each designed to gently push you out of your routine and into something new. Just one tiny act a day…because small acts can lead to big changes.
The Story Behind tiny acts
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed how life tends to narrow into schedules and routines. We optimize, we plan, and we stay inside the lines so we can get things done. The tradeoff is that it gets harder to step outside that rhythm. tiny acts is my attempt to create small openings in the day for variety, randomness, and a bit of surprise.
In putting these acts into practice myself, I’ve found that I feel more mindful, more focused, and that my days have gained a little extra texture.
Another reason I built tiny acts was a break from apps that are designed to pull us in and keep us there. Even the ones built with good intentions usually aim to make us more efficient, more productive, more optimized. I wanted the opposite. Simple on purpose. Your interaction can be as quick as two taps a day. Once you’re done your act, that’s it. No scrolling, no streaks, nothing demanding your attention.
Frequently Asked Questions

When you set a notification time in tiny acts, you’ll receive a gentle nudge each day at that time to check your new act. If you’ve already completed your act before the notification time, it won’t send. So you’re never getting a reminder you don’t need. If you prefer not to enable notifications, a new act will be available each day upon opening the app.

Yes! You can swap your act for a new one anytime by using the “Change Act” button. By default, this option is off to encourage sitting with whatever act is revealed each day. But if you want the flexibility, just turn it on in your settings.
