tiny acts isn’t about adding more to your to-do list. It’s about sprinkling in a little spark each day. You’ll get one small prompt from one of four categories—mindful, caring, explorer, or activity—each designed to gently push you out of your routine and into something new. Just one tiny act a day…because small steps can lead to big changes.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do notifications work?
When you set a notification time in tiny acts, you’ll receive a gentle nudge each day at that time to check your new act. If you’ve already completed your act before the notification time, it won’t send. So you’re never getting a reminder you don’t need. If you prefer not to enable notifications, a new act will be available each day upon opening the app.
Can I change my daily act?
Yes! You can swap your act for a new one anytime by using the “Change Act” button. By default, this option is off to encourage sitting with whatever act is revealed each day. But if you want the flexibility, just turn it on in your settings.
Why isn’t “Change Act” turned on by default?
The heart of tiny acts is about getting you to step a little outside your routine. That’s often easier when you stick with what’s presented, even if it’s not what you’d choose.
Do I need an internet connection?
Nope. Once the app is installed, it works offline. Your acts and the act counter are all stored on your device.
What are the four categories?
Acts are drawn from four types:
Mindful - Pause, reflect, and notice the present moment.
Caring - Do something kind for yourself or others.
Explorer - Try something new, step outside your norm.
Activity - Get moving, stretch, or energize your day.
Does tiny acts track my data?
No tracking, no ads, no personal data collection. Just you, a tiny act, and a little nudge toward growth.
Will I run out of acts to complete?
Nope! New acts will continue to be added in future updates. If you’ve come up with a tiny act that you think could brighten someone else’s day, we’d love to hear it. Send it our way and it might be featured in a future version of the app.
